I’ve always found regular ironing a bit of a chore, so I picked up this Philips handheld steamer hoping it would make life easier, and honestly, it’s become my go-to for quick touch-ups. It’s compact and lightweight, so holding it up for longer periods doesn’t tire out my arm the way a traditional iron would.

The steam output is decent for a handheld device — it handles everyday wrinkles on shirts, cotton dresses, and even lighter fabrics like linen fairly well. It heats up quickly too, so I’m not standing around waiting five minutes before I can start. I especially like using it on hanging clothes right before heading out; no need to set up an ironing board every time.

That said, it’s not a replacement for a full iron if you’re dealing with heavily creased fabric or bulkier items like jeans — you’ll still need a proper iron and board for that. The water tank is also on the smaller side, so it needs refilling more often during longer sessions.
