Philips Air Fryer NA120/00, 4.2L – My Honest Review
I picked this up after years of deep frying everything, and honestly, it’s been a nice change. The 4.2-litre capacity is perfect for my family of four — I can fit a decent batch of fries or a small batch of wings without needing multiple rounds.
The Rapid Air Technology genuinely works. My fries come out crispy on the outside, soft inside, without drowning them in oil. I’ve noticed a real difference in how “light” the food feels afterward compared to deep frying — no greasy aftertaste sitting in your stomach.
It’s simple to use too. The dial controls are straightforward, no confusing digital menu to figure out, which I actually prefer since I’m not a fan of overly “smart” kitchen gadgets. Preheating is quick, and cleanup is easy since the basket is non-stick and dishwasher safe.
A couple of things I’d flag: it does take a bit of practice to get timing right for different foods, and it can get a little noisy while running. Also, for larger families or meal-prepping in bulk, you might find yourself doing batches back-to-back.
Overall: It’s a reliable, no-fuss air fryer (4/5) that delivers on the “less oil, same crunch” promise — great for everyday cooking, not fancy, just functional.
